    Project publicly announced

    The data center project is publicly announced. Residents and the broader community begin to learn the details of what is proposed.

  2. May 2026

    Developer withdrew from Gardner project

    After the City removed economic incentives, Beale Infrastructure ended its pursuit of the Gardner site. Developer-hosted information sessions that had been announced did not go forward.

    Gardner City Council (regular meeting)

    Regular City Council session. The data center rezoning may or may not be on the agenda; confirm using the City’s published agenda and packet.

  4. May 11, 2026 · 6:00 p.m. · 231 E Madison St, Gardner, KS

    USD 231 Board of Education meeting

    Gardner residents may speak at this meeting. Pre-register to speak by 12pm on May 11th. Walk-ins are welcome but you must register before 6pm.

  5. May 18, 2026 · 7:00 p.m. · Gardner City Hall

    Gardner City Council (regular meeting)

    Regular City Council session. The data center rezoning may or may not be on the agenda; confirm using the City’s published agenda and packet.

  6. May 26, 2026 · 7:00 p.m. · Gardner City Hall

    Gardner Planning Commission Hearing

    Originally listed while a rezoning application from Beale was in play. After the developer withdrew, confirm whether this hearing still occurs or the item is removed. If it proceeds, public comment becomes part of the record.

  7. June 15, 2026 · 7:00 p.m.

    Gardner City Council Vote

    Originally listed as the possible Council vote on rezoning. After Beale withdrew, confirm the City agenda before treating this as a data center decision date.
